Moving Publications to Publica.now

I have now moved my works to be published electronically on publica.now.

My initial move was because the previous platform, D2D Digital, was not setup to accept the formatting I was using for the cadence in short beat sentences. This format was crucial in avoiding long-prose writing that would only interfere with denser concepts requiring more cognitive digestion.

However, after playing around with publica, I discovered it can also voice read the manuscript. Though not perfect after testing it*, this avoids any additonal expense for the reader if they want an audio book approach.

Additionally, publica.now platform allows the reader to create their own notes/ comments on the material. This allows the reader to co-create their own journey as they descend deeper into the architecture of inaction.

And finally, publica.now has an AI feature** so you can tailor the material to the specifics of your movements as you journey through this publication series. It allows a personalized interaction with the material that meets you where you are at. This is especially important as the material can sometimes place heavy cognitive digestion on the reader, especially on denser sections.

I hope this choice will bring measurable benefits to both the material and the reader.

* I have asked publica for better speed control (jumps from 0.75 to 1), cursor placement for precise voice starts, and fix start location issues with double pane layout.
** This is purely optional and at your discretion based on your personalized intersection of the climate footprint of AI and how it situates with climate ethics.
